Álvaro Ponce Villablanca has a diverse and extensive work experience in sales, business development, and management roles. Beginning in 2014, they worked as a Financial Consultant for Investors Group, where they analyzed client needs and guided them towards suitable investment opportunities. Álvaro then worked as a Social Media Manager and Marketing Representative for Bouchereau Lingua International.

In 2015, Álvaro joined Adecco Professional Chile as an Engineering Recruitment Specialist. Álvaro then moved on to positions at Chilexpress, where they served as a Key Account Manager for the E-commerce segment and later as the Head of Accounts, leading a team of Key Account Managers and Executives.

In 2018, Álvaro founded Reclútate, focusing on digital marketing and sales. Álvaro then joined Glovo as a Sales Manager for B2B and Non-foods in 2019, responsible for developing the B2B business and acquiring grocery and non-food clients. Álvaro also held the position of Head of B2B at Rappi during the same period.

From 2020 to 2022, Álvaro worked at Moova, where they held various sales leadership roles, including Regional Head of Sales and Customer Success for Latin America and Head of Sales for Latin America, overseeing the sales strategy for the Last Mile Business in several countries.

In 2022, Álvaro joined Odilo as the Global Director of ULC Corporate, where they led a team of learning coaches and focused on international expansion and customer growth.

Currently, Álvaro is working as the VP, Head of Sales for the EMEA and APAC regions at Ontop, responsible for leading and empowering the Business Development and Sales teams, and designing and implementing the company's sales strategy for these regions.

Álvaro Ponce Villablanca has a Master of Science in Management degree with a specialization in Marketing from KEDGE Business School. Álvaro also holds a Diplomado Dirección Comercial y Ventas degree in Sales from Universidad de Chile. In addition, Álvaro has a degree in Ingeniería Comercial with a focus on Marketing and Business Administration from Universidad Andres Bello.
