Alanna Irving

Alanna Irving is the COO at Open Collective, a fiscal sponsor to over 3000 open source projects that enables $12m in funding in 2021. Alanna was previously the Board Member at Open Source Collective from January 2019 to April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder at Dark Crystal from February 2018 to September 2019, where they built Dark Crystal, a P2P utility for backing up secrets using the trust in your social network. Alanna was also the Chief Operating Officer at Open Collective from March 2017 to March 2018.

Alanna Irving completed their undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Asian and Middle Eastern Language and Civilizations.

They are on a team with Benjamin Nickolls - CPO, François Hodierne - CTO. Their manager is Pia Mancini, Co-founder & CEO.
