Natalie Samarasinghe

Natalie Samarasinghe serves as the Global Director of Advocacy at the Open Society Foundations and previously held various strategic roles within the United Nations, including Chief of Strategy and Senior Programme Management Officer, as well as Senior Speechwriter for the President of the General Assembly. Samarasinghe also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the United Nations Association UK and held the positions of Deputy Director and Head of Policy & Communications, along with Human Rights Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Modern History from the University of Oxford and a Master's degree in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
