Darren Clarke has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Darren started their career as a Pensions Technical Consultant at Irish Progressive Life Assurance Company in 1998. Darren then joined Irish Life as an Account Manager, where they were responsible for managing relationships with financial planners and implementing the company's bancassurance business model. Clarke later worked at Nationwide Building Society as a Senior Financial Consultant, providing financial review services to customers. In 2011, they joined the Pension Protection Fund as a Scheme Delivery Consultant, managing stakeholder relationships and assessing schemes for entry into the PPF. From 2014 to 2019, Clarke served as the Head of Client Relations at DST Systems, leading a team of Client Relationship Managers and overseeing client relations and contractual arrangements. Currently, Clarke is the Head of Customer Success at OpenSky Data Systems, where they focus on building and strengthening client partnerships and ensuring the best possible customer experience.

Darren Clarke completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from Henley Business School in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies and Economics from The Open University Business School, graduating in 2006. Darren also obtained a QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) from Life Insurance Association Ireland before the year 2000.
