Laura Galindo

Laura Galindo's work experience includes roles in various organizations. Laura is currently the Director of Global Partnerships at Operation Smile since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CECP from 2017 to 2021, where they held positions such as Head of International Partnerships and Knowledge Management and International Partnerships Senior Associate. Laura'sresponsibilities at CECP included providing support and strategy development to corporate responsibility professionals, expanding the Global Exchange network, and advising companies on effective practices in corporate social investment.

Before their time at CECP, Laura worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2016. Laura also held the position of Data Insights Summer Fellow at CECP in the same year. In 2015, they worked as a Columbia University Graduate Consultant at Bavaria - Colombia, where they assessed the impact of the company's corporate social responsibility program.

Laura's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Specialist for Latin America and the Caribbean at Accion International from 2014 to 2015, where they led operations for the Smart Campaign project. Laura also worked as an Analyst for Latin America and the Caribbean at Accion International from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they gained experience as a Full-time Intern at Accion International in 2011.

Prior to their roles at Accion International, Laura worked as a Regional Security Policy Intern at the Washington Office on Latin America in 2011 and as a Research Assistant at the Hudson Institute's Center for Latin American Studies in 2010.

Laura Galindo received their Master's degree in Public Administration from Columbia University, which they pursued from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2011, they attended American University, where they studied Global Economics and Business. Lastly, from 2006 to 2011, Laura studied at Universidad Externado de Colombia, although their degree and field of study from that institution are not specified.
