Josiah Smith

Josiah Smith serves as the Director of Operations at OPSWAT since August 2024 and has held multiple key positions in cybersecurity and operations within the US Air Force Reserve. As Superintendent of the Strategic Plans and Policy Division, Josiah also functions as an Adjunct Cybersecurity Professor at Bismarck State College and previously operated as Director of Operations and Senior Threat Engineer at InQuest.net. Josiah’s extensive career includes roles as a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst at SAIC and Manager of Enterprise Signature Management at the U.S. Air Force. With a strong academic background, Josiah holds a Master’s degree in Information Security Engineering from SANS Technology Institute, a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and several other relevant degrees and certifications.
