Nicole Strong has extensive experience in community development and education within the fields of forestry and natural resources. Currently serving as Central Regional Director and Forestry and Natural Resources Extension Faculty at Oregon State University since 2004, Nicole focuses on non-formal education and program evaluation. Previous roles include Extension Coordinator at the Center for Subtropical Agroforestry at the University of Florida, and Natural Resources Community Specialist with the Peace Corps, where partnership was established with Defensores de la Naturaleza in the Biosphere Reserve Sierra de las Minas. Nicole holds a Master of Science in Forest Resources from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Science from Purdue University.
