Dimitri Hirsch-Weil

Dimitri Hirsch-Weil began their work experience in 2004 with a Co-Op role at GlaxoSmithKline. Dimitri then transitioned to a Research Assistant position at the University of Florida in 2005, where they worked until 2010. Dimitri then joined The Scripps Research Institute as a Research Associate from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Origin Materials, where they held various positions including R&D Scientist, Research Project Leader, and Director of Organic Chemistry. At Origin Materials, Dimitri managed multiple R&D programs, oversaw lab safety and hygiene, and developed synthetic pathways for new products.

Dimitri Hirsch-Weil obtained a PhD in organic chemistry and organometallics from the University of Florida from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Diplome D'ingenieur (MS) in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and chemical engineering from CPE Lyon from 2002 to 2005.
