Sai Deepika Regani

Sai Deepika Regani has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sai Deepika is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Origin AI since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park starting from August 2017. Sai Deepika also worked as a Medical Imaging Engineering Intern at Brain Biosciences, Inc., from June 2016 to May 2017. Sai Deepika Regani previously worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park from August 2015 to May 2017. Sai Deepika gained experience as an Image Processing Intern at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration from June 2016 to August 2016, where they focused on creating an automatic sea nettle validation system using image segmentation, pattern matching, and motion tracking algorithms. Lastly, they had a summer internship at Powergear Limited in 2013, where they worked on a non-linear Electromagnetics research problem statement provided by Boeing company using MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics software.

Sai Deepika Regani completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2011 to 2015. Sai Deepika then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Signal Processing at the University of Maryland from 2015 to 2017. Following their Master's, they continued their studies at the University of Maryland and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from 2017 to 2021.
