Reece Robinson / Technology Leader

Reece Robinson is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in various companies. In 1996, they worked at Telecom Internet Services Group as an Internet Architect, responsible for the architecture, development, and delivery of key components for the ISP/Website support application. From 1997 to 1998, they worked at Optimation as a Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for the architecture, development, and delivery of an online subscription-based electronic kids magazine, as well as working as a senior consultant on various commercial projects.

Reece joined The Technical Resource Connection in 2000 as an Application Modeller, where they stayed until 2001. In 2001, they moved to MCMS Ltd and worked there until 2002 as a Senior Software Architect. Reece Robinson then joined Aderant in 2002, where they worked as a Senior Software Architect until 2010. During their time at Aderant, they took the lead and was involved in all aspects of development for a large, complex transformational task.

From 2011 to 2013, Reece worked at Optus as an Application Architect. Reece Robinson played a leading role in an initiative to improve software development within the company. In 2013, they joined Spark Ventures (formerly Telecom Digital Ventures) as a Lead Solutions Architect, where they shaped technologies and solutions for projects such as Bigpipe ISP and Telecom Public WiFi initiatives.

In 2014, Reece joined Fraedom (previously Spendvision) as a Lead Technical Architect. Reece Robinson led the Platform Architecture Team, responsible for the development and evolution of the core platform. In 2015, they joined Orion Health as a VP Engineering, where they were hired as a Principal Engineer in the team responsible for building the next generation of precision medicine and big data solutions. Their role included operationalizing machine learning in the healthcare setting.

Reece Robinson, a Technology Leader, has an extensive education history. Reece Robinson obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Advanced Control Systems & AI from The University of Auckland, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic from the same institution, studying from 1987 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Reece has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills in the technology field. Reece Robinson has completed the Machine Learning course offered by Coursera Course Certificates in June 2016. Reece Robinson also has certifications in various subjects related to data analysis, including Big Data, Data Analysis, Data Cleaning, Data Visualization, and R Programming, all from Dataquest.io. Furthermore, Reece has earned edX Verified Certificates for Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark and Scalable Machine Learning from edX.
