Kari Westersund

Kari Westersund has extensive work experience in corporate communications and public affairs. Kari started their career at The Norwegian Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development as an adviser from August 2003 to December 2005. Kari then worked as an adviser at The Norwegian Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion from January 2006 to January 2007. Kari joined Orkla Foods as an Information Consultant from January 2007 to February 2008. Kari continued their career at Orkla Brands, where they worked as a Consultant for Corporate Communications from February 2008 to December 2011. Kari then served as a Corporate Communications Manager at Orkla Brands from January 2012 to September 2012. Kari then moved to Orkla ASA, where they held various roles, including Corporate Communications Manager from September 2012 to September 2016, Senior Vice President of Communications from September 2016 to March 2020, and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs since March 2020.

Kari Westersund completed their education from 1996 to 2002 at The University of Oslo, where they obtained a degree in Political Science (Cand.polit.). In addition, from 1996 to 1998, Kari also attended the University of Agder (UiA), although it is not specified if they obtained a degree or field of study from this institution.
