Tony Tinto

Tony Tinto has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the maritime industry. Tony currently serves as the Director of Operations at OSI Maritime Systems. Previously, they held positions such as Vice President of Operations and Director of Operations at McRae Marine Electrical & Electronics, where they were responsible for providing innovative and cost-effective solutions for marine electrical and electronic automation systems. Prior to that, Tony worked at Seaspan ULC, where they served as Vice President of Planning & Estimating, Director of Planning & Production Control, and Project Manager, overseeing large-scale ship construction, overhaul, modernization, and repair contracts. Tony also has experience as the Manager of Design & Engineering at West Bay Sonship Yacht Builders Ltd., where they managed the design and engineering of luxury custom fiberglass motor yachts.

Tony Tinto has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Tony also pursued executive leadership studies at UBC Sauder School of Business and completed a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona in 2018. Additionally, Tony has taken courses in organizational leadership at Ivey Business School at Western University and attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
