Kejah Bascon

Kejah Bascon is currently a Massey College Junior Fellow and Peer Mentor at the University of Toronto, participating in the Community of Support program aimed at enhancing representation among underrepresented students. Kejah serves as a Research Assistant at both Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Hôpital Montfort while also providing mentorship through Black Ladders Ottawa and volunteering as a Research Assistant and Science Manuscript Writer for the Black Health Education Collaborative and PubNavigator, respectively. Involved in academia, Kejah holds positions as a Peer Mentor for Neuroscience Honours Thesis students at Carleton University and a Graduate Teaching Assistant, alongside active participation in the Graduate Student Representative role for the Department of Neuroscience. Educated in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience at Carleton University, Kejah is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto.
