Amro Younes has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Amro started their career in 1995 as a Software Designer at Newbridge Networks, where they were responsible for the infrastructure of Traffic Management and Call Control software. Amro also led a team in developing monitoring functions for Circuit Emulation and OC-3 Cell Relay cards. At Cisco Systems, from 1999 to 2009, Amro served as both a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer, where they worked on platform and operating system infrastructure for a next-generation switching platform and contributed to Network Admission Control technologies.

Next, at Redwood Systems, Amro worked as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of embedded system solutions for energy-efficient lighting solutions. Amro also architected and developed communication protocols and software systems for LED fixtures.
