Carly Henderson, PHR

Carly Henderson, PHR, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Carly held the position of Head of Talent Acquisition at Outerspace from January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Recruiting at Koalafi from July 2021 to January 2023. Before that, they served as a Talent Acquisition Manager at The Brattle Group, where they led recruitment efforts and managed recruiters and support staff from June 2020 to July 2021. Carly also worked as a Talent Acquisition Manager at SQZ Biotechnologies from July 2018 to June 2020, where they oversaw all aspects of talent acquisition and scouting for various roles. Carly had additional roles at SQZ as a Culture and People Specialist from February 2018 to July 2018 and as a Culture and People Coordinator from February 2017 to January 2018.

Earlier in their career, Carly held positions at Wounded Warrior Project, where they worked as an Outreach Specialist from March 2015 to February 2017 and as a Warriors to Work Specialist from October 2013 to March 2015. Carly also worked as a Human Capital Associate at Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America from February 2011 to April 2013.

Prior to that, Carly served as a Recruitment Associate Temp at the Food Bank For New York City, where they co-managed recruitment and implemented the CookShop Classroom program. Carly also had an industry internship at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, where they conducted research and analyzed food products' compatibility with guidelines and school nutrition policies.

Carly Henderson, PHR, holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Westminster. In 2016, Carly obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
