Mitch Varela

Mitch Varela has over 15 years of experience in the transportation industry. Mitch began their career in 2006 at BNSF Railway, where they held various roles, including Manager of Intermodal Systems, Manager of Equipment Utilization, Project Manager, Manager of Transportation (Division), Manager of Transportation (Network), and Manager of Transportation (Terminal). In each role, they managed projects, streamlined processes, and improved customer service. In 2021, they joined Outrider as Director of Customer Operations and Sr. Manager of Customer Operations.

Mitch Varela received a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2003. Mitch then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from the same university in 2005.
