Carlos Sousa

Carlos Sousa has extensive experience in the technology industry. Carlos is currently working at OutSystems as the Vice President of Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for the strategy, roadmap, execution, and budget compliance of a multi-disciplinary engineering team. Prior to this, Carlos held positions such as Director of Engineering, Head of Engineering, and Head of Product Architecture at OutSystems.

Before joining OutSystems, Carlos worked at Altitude Software as a Consultant, where they were involved in analyzing, designing, and coordinating the development of software solutions for global clients. Carlos also worked at Novabase as a Consultant. Overall, Carlos Sousa has a strong background in engineering, product architecture, and digital strategy, with experience in both managerial and technical roles.

Carlos Sousa earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Instituto Politécnico de Viseu from 2002 to 2007. Carlos then pursued an Executive Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Business Administration and Management from INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are attending ISCTE Business School to obtain a Master's degree in Business Administration.
