Michael Rosenstein has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Michael currently holds the position of VP of Application Software at Owl Labs, where they are responsible for scaling the team, executing the product roadmap, guiding technical innovation, and improving processes and best practices. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Application SW at Owl Labs.

In 2019, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at EP Health, an early-stage startup. Michael'sresponsibilities included meeting with customers, investors, and potential business partners, as well as writing code for a SaaS MVP.

Michael'sfocus was on embedded Android/Linux for intelligent video conferencing, including computer vision, GPU-based image processing, sound localization, and beamforming.

Prior to Owl Labs, they worked at Healthsense as a Principal Software Engineer from 2012 to 2015, where they served as the Chief Data Scientist for technology-enabled elder care. Michael'sresponsibilities included the advanced development of data-driven products, including the creation of the HealthNotes system.

Michael also spent several years at iRobot as a Senior Principal Robotics Engineer from 2007 to 2012 and at Lightning Packs as an Interim Research Director from 2006 to 2007.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2006, and as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate/Senior Research Scientist at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2003 to 2005.

Michael Rosenstein holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Michael also has an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.S. in Applied Physiology, both obtained from Boston University.
