Yasmin Ahmed

Yasmin Ahmed has extensive experience working in various roles related to diversity, inclusion, and organizational development. Their most recent position was as Deputy Director, Inclusion at Oxford Brookes University starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they served as Head of Inclusion at the University of London from October 2020 to February 2023. Yasmin also co-founded and co-chaired the Race Equity and Cultural Harmony Network (REACH) on behalf of the University of Reading, where they collaborated with over 30 member organizations to drive race equity and cultural harmony. Yasmin has also held roles as a Diversity, Inclusion, and Organizational Development Specialist at the University of Reading, as well as a Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Croydon Council. Yasmin's experience includes developing diversity and inclusion strategies, providing guidance and advice to organizations, and delivering training and engagement activities in the field of equality and inclusion.

Yasmin Ahmed's education history includes an MSc in Social Policy and Planning from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a CIPD Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Development from the University of West London. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Race Equality Reviewer in 2023 and a Race Equality Charter Reviewer in 2022 from Advance HE.
