André Carlo Tipping

André Carlo Tipping has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. André Carlo currently serves as the Science Analytics Platform Team Lead at Pace Revenue, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, André worked as a Data Analyst at Pace Revenue from July 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining Pace Revenue, André worked for IWG plc as a Pricing Transformation Developer from January 2020 to June 2022. In this role, they developed and utilized Python and SQL Server to translate business processes into Monte Carlo simulations, forecast revenue, and drive demand. André also built a renewal propensity model using XGBoost, resulting in an increase in renewal rate and price.

Earlier in their career, André was an IT Consultant at Manhattan Associates, where they configured warehouse management software, prepared software demos, and resolved client issues. André Carlo also gained experience as a Trainee Production Engineer at ArcelorMittal Construction Solutions and as an Engineering Intern - Reservoir Simulation Modelling at Petroceltic International PLC.

André started their career as an Estimator at Kierbeck Thames Ltd, where they reviewed drawings and specifications to prepare cost estimates. André Carlo also had a Year In Industry placement as a Trainee at Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald Joint Venture and gained industrial experience at TNK-BP Reservoir Management.

Throughout their career, André has demonstrated strong analytical and technical skills, utilizing programming languages such as Python and SQL. André Carlo has also shown an ability to translate business processes into data-driven models and solutions.

André Carlo Tipping obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, completing their studies from 2009 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Petroleum Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico, where they attended from 2014 to 2017.

Additionally, André obtained a Data Science Specialization certification from Coursera in June 2019. Furthermore, they completed a Data Engineering Nanodegree from Udacity in August 2022.
