James Butler

James Butler's work experience starts with a role as a Data Scientist at Pace Revenue in 2022, where they specialize in time-series forecasting and full stack development. Prior to that, they worked at UCL from 2016 to 2022, first as a Research Associate and then as a Senior Research Associate. In these roles, they focused on machine learning, data science, and software engineering as a Computational Neuroscientist. James'sresponsibilities included various successful machine-learning projects, data cleaning and analysis, algorithm and model development, project management, grant writing, and global presentations. Before joining UCL, James had a student placement at Eli Lilly and Company in 2016.

James Butler completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology at Imperial College London from 2008 to 2011. James then pursued a Master's degree in Neuroscience at UCL from 2011 to 2012. Following that, James attended the University of Cambridge, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from 2012 to 2016.
