Matthias Geiss

Matthias Geiss has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matthias is currently the MD & Founder at Packmatic GmbH, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at IVY & OAK GmbH from May 2017 to January 2021.

Before joining IVY & OAK, Matthias worked at J.P. Morgan from June 2014 to May 2017. During their time there, they held the position of M&A Analyst and also served as a Spring Intern in Corporate Finance/M&A Advisory.

Matthias also gained experience at Oliver Wyman, where they worked as a Consultant from September 2012 to August 2013. Prior to that, they interned at AUCTUS Management GmbH as a Private Equity Intern.

Matthias'searlier internships include roles at Oliver Wyman in 2011 and Bayer in 2010. Matthias began their professional career as a Corporate Banking Intern at Deutsche Bank in 2009.

Matthias Geiss pursued their education at renowned institutions, starting with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. Matthias attended this school from 2009 to 2012, gaining a solid foundation in the field.

Following their undergraduate studies, Matthias went on to enroll at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2013. During their time at LSE, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance, thereby honing their expertise in this specific domain. Matthias successfully completed this program in 2014.
