Gertjan van der Werken

Gertjan van der Werken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development, program management, and project management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Operations Manager at PagerDuty since October 2018, Gertjan onboarded a new offshore team and established processes to ensure around-the-clock support for deliverables. Prior to this role, Gertjan worked at Kijiji Canada as a Program Manager, where responsibilities included setting up a local QA organization and managing PMO functions. Gertjan also contributed to the transition to Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies at Marktplaats.nl/eBay while previously managing development teams at Mirabeau and serving as a technical project manager at eBay and Marktplaats.nl. With a foundation in software development, Gertjan has also held positions at T-Mobile, Philips, and Ordina Technical Automation. Gertjan holds degrees from Eindhoven University of Technology and HTS Telematics.
