Jacco Dekker has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jacco began their career as a Floor Manager at van Dijk Sportconcepts from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they worked as a Shop Manager at Sneakers from 2002 to 2004. Jacco then joined Kompas as an Assistant Shop Manager, where they were responsible for staff and sales management, as well as implementing a new shoe brand from 2004 to 2005. After that, Jacco became a Shop Manager at debitel from 2005 to 2006.

In 2006, Jacco started their long stint at Sole Technology, where they held the position of Account Manager Sales and Marketing for various footwear and apparel brands. Their responsibilities included managing the end-to-end sales process, acquiring new retailers, relationship management, and revenue expansion. Jacco acted as a trusted advisor to retailers on marketing plans and sales strategies. Jacco held this role until 2016.

From 2017 to 2019, Jacco worked at Fetim Group, where they held different roles such as Sales Support, Visual Merchandiser, and Area Sales Representative. In these positions, they gained experience in sales, retail, and merchandising.

In 2019, Jacco joined BESTSELLER as an Account Manager, where they continued their sales and account management responsibilities until 2023.

Currently, Jacco is working as an Account Manager Key Account at PALLADIUM BOOTS starting from 2023.

Additionally, Jacco has co-owned A&J Events since 2016, where they and their team have experience and expertise in various areas such as hospitality, DJ-ing, event hosting, design, promotion, sales, and retail. They organize successful events, taking care of everything from promotion to security to the DJ lineup. They are looking for opportunities to expand their horizons and organize events throughout the Netherlands.

Jacco Dekker completed their education in a chronological manner. Jacco first attended Horizon College from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in retail, specifically in the field of detailhandel manager/ondernemer. Later, in the years 2014 and 2015, they enrolled in Nima A Sales. During this period, they completed the HBO Leergang NIMA Sales-A Professioneel Verkopen degree program, focusing on the field of HBO Leergang Nima Sales A Professioneel verkopen.
