Benjamin Hood

Benjamin Hood has extensive experience in the finance industry, particularly in research and management roles. Benjamin currently serves as the Managing Director of Research at Parametric and Morgan Stanley, where they oversee the derivatives research team and handles strategies for institutional and wealth management clients. Prior to this, Benjamin worked at AQR Capital Management as a Consultant, Vice President, and Associate in Global Asset Allocation Research. In addition to their industry experience, they have also lectured at Carlson School of Management, teaching courses on options and derivatives as well as Python for Quantitative Finance.

Benjamin Hood received their education from various institutions. Benjamin attended the University of Minnesota from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. Following this, they pursued a higher level of education at UCLA from 2004 to 2011, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics.
