Ricky Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ricky began their career in 2000 as a Political Researcher and Online Editor for Media Watch Charity. In 2006, they joined Direct Line Group as a Commercial Sales and Service Team Leader. In 2009, Ricky moved to Capita Insurance Services and served as a Key Account Manager until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Client Relationship & Operations Manager at Retail Design House and Insitu Display Limited, where they managed client relationships and was later responsible for operational delivery of manufacturing projects. Most recently, Ricky has been at ParentPay, starting in 2019 as a Customer Engagement Manager and later transitioning to the role of Regional Customer Success Manager in June 2021.

Ricky Nelson pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organisational Strategy from Hatfield Business School from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy from the University of the West of England between 1997 and 1999.
