Mary Purzycki is an experienced educator currently serving as a Secondary Science Teacher and CTE Health Sciences Instructor at Park City High School since August 1995, where additional roles include advisor for the Gay-Straight Alliance and Health Occupations Students of America. Mary has developed and instructed various courses, such as EMT-B, medical anatomy, and biotechnology, to prepare students for careers in biology. Prior experience includes teaching General Biology at Providence Public Schools and research positions at prestigious institutions, including Harvard University and Brown University, focusing on DNA sequencing and oncogene research. Mary holds a Master of Education in Secondary Science and Math Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Rhode Island.
