Anisa Ali

Research Staff Member And Cultural Broker at Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute

Anisa Ali has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anisa'smost recent role is as a Cultural Broker in Research at the University of Minnesota, which they started in February 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Program Director at the Somali American Parent Association starting from January 2021. In 2020, they worked as a Research Staff Member and Cultural Broker at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and as an MPLS Education Ambassador at Great MN Schools. Also in 2020, Anisa co-founded Lead The Way MN. Before these roles, they worked as a Service Coordinator for Homeless Children and Families at Parents In Community Action, Inc. from March 2007 to February 2021.

Anisa Ali pursued their education at Minneapolis College from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Anisa then continued their studies at Metro State University from 2020 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Culture, and Early Childhood Studies.
