Butch Cloninger

Butch Cloninger has a strong background in DevOps and IT enterprise architecture. Butch is currently working as a Senior Manager of DevOps at PatientPoint since 2022. Prior to that, Butch worked at VF Corporation for almost 10 years, starting in 2012. At VF Corporation, they held various roles including Senior Manager of Global DevOps, Principal Software Engineer of DevOps, Senior Manager of IT Enterprise Architecture, and Manager of Human Capital Management. In these roles, Butch was responsible for creating a global DevOps team, establishing best practices and self-service capabilities, managing multiple CI/CD pipelines, maintaining a relationship with a global CDN provider, and participating in large-scale enterprise projects such as regional SAP implementation and replacing disparate HR systems with Workday.

Butch Cloninger obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Polymer Chemistry from North Carolina State University. In addition, they received certifications in "Preventing Harassment in the Workplace" from LinkedIn in August 2023 and "Advanced Terraform" from LinkedIn in December 2022.
