Abhilash Mudaliar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of impact investing and philanthropy. Their current role is as the Chief Impact Officer at the Paul Ramsay Foundation, where they provide leadership to multiple teams focused on enhancing grant-making efforts. Prior to this, they were the Chief Portfolio Officer at the same foundation. Abhilash also served as the Head of Impact Investing and Impact Measurement at the Paul Ramsay Foundation.

Apart from their work at the foundation, Abhilash holds the position of Non-Executive Chair (Australia) at Calcutta Rescue, a charity working to improve the lives of the poorest people in and around Kolkata. Abhilash is also a Non-Executive Director at First Australians Capital, an Indigenous-led organization that supports Indigenous businesses through investment readiness and capital solutions. Abhilash began their career as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company.

Abhilash Mudaliar completed their education in a chronological order. From 1997 to 2003, they attended the University of Melbourne, where they earned a combined Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Honors) and Arts (Honors). Their fields of study included Political Science, Finance, and Actuarial. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they attended the Harvard Kennedy School, achieving a Master's degree in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID). Additionally, in November 2022, they obtained a certification in GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
