Grace Carroll

Grace Carroll has a diverse work experience in various roles related to community management, social media management, and journalism.

Grace is currently working as the Lead Community Manager at Payload Studios since September 2021.

Prior to that, Grace worked at Creative Assembly from October 2015 to September 2021. Grace started as a Social Media Manager and later became the Lead Community & Social Media Manager. Grace was responsible for expanding the Total War presence on social media, setting KPIs, and delivering results. Grace worked on the launch of two games and several DLC packs.

Before Creative Assembly, Grace worked at Ware Anthony Rust as a Social Media Manager from February 2015 to October 2015. Grace led social strategy, built online communities, and developed content marketing plans for clients.

Grace also worked at Jagex as a Community Manager from September 2014 to December 2014. Grace managed multiple social media accounts, engaged with players, created and implemented social media strategies.

Grace had a brief role as a News Wire Editor at World Entertainment News Network from July 2014 to August 2014. Grace sourced and wrote stories, compiled news feeds, and created specific content for websites.

Grace worked at Horner and Roberts Ltd as a Social Media Manager from April 2014 to July 2014. Grace developed and implemented a social media strategy for the company and an obstacle course race called Grail Quest. Grace managed and supported communities in both investment banking and obstacle course racing.

Grace started their career as an Editorial Assistant at Rockpack from May 2013 to December 2013. Grace managed social networks, implemented social media strategies, and responded to user inquiries.

Grace also worked as a freelance journalist at Giant Digital from an unknown start date to 2013. Grace had responsibilities such as subbing, organizing gig reviews, conducting interviews, and generating ideas for features and galleries. Grace had temporary full-time responsibility for the entire website during the editor's absence.

Grace Carroll attended the University of Sheffield from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism Studies. In August 2016, they also obtained a YouTube Content Strategy Certificate from YouTube.
