Subeesh Chothendavida is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. At PayPal, Subeesh served as Director of Software Engineering from August 2021 to February 2025, with previous roles as Senior Engineering Manager overseeing Cloud Infrastructure and Core Platforms, as well as Product Catalog Services within the Shopping & Rewards division. Prior to PayPal, Subeesh worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions from November 2006 to April 2012 as a Systems Analyst and Programmer Analyst, and served as a Senior Software Consultant at eBay during the same period, specializing in developing Rich UI Web 2.0 applications using a range of technologies including Java and advanced JavaScript frameworks. Subeesh holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calicut, earned between January 2002 and January 2006.
