Shirley Tivey

Shirley Tivey is an experienced nurse with a career spanning several roles in various healthcare settings. Currently serving as a part-time Research Nurse and Home IV Research Nurse at PCM Trials since October 2022, Shirley previously held positions as a Registered Nurse while on a career break from November 2022 to September 2023. Prior to this, Shirley worked as an Occupational Health Nurse at Patient Access Management and in various capacities since 2016, including Nurse Advisor at QuintilesIMS, focusing on education for healthcare professionals regarding Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Earlier experience includes serving at NHS Trust in the Diabetes & Endocrine Centre and as a Clinical Assessor with Medacs. Shirley’s nursing career began with a degree from North Trent College of Nursing & Midwifery, completed in 1994, and includes extensive experience in administering home IV infusions and patient education.
