Pieter Goubert, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Western University, where they delivered tutorials, graded assignments, and assisted students. In 2012, Pieter joined Prism Economics and Analysis as a Researcher and Analyst, conducting investigations on workplace safety and insurance claims suppression.

From 2013 to 2014, Pieter served as a Project Leader at the Consulate of Belgium in Toronto, overseeing the registration process for the Belgian Legislative Federal Elections. Pieter ensured voter awareness, addressed concerns, and verified legal requirements.

In 2014, Pieter joined PowerHub as an Analyst before becoming a Product Specialist in 2015. PowerHub is a cloud-based asset management platform for renewable energy projects. Pieter then transitioned to self-employment in 2016, working as a Consultant providing business development, bid compliance, and research services.

From 2017 to 2022, Pieter joined Nova Innovation Ltd, first as an Analyst and later as a Senior Analyst. Nova Innovation is a leading tidal technology company, and Pieter contributed to the development of safe and cost-effective solutions for tidal energy.

Currently, Pieter holds the position of Project Manager - Innovation at Peak Power Inc, where they are involved in innovative projects. Pieter's diverse experience in project management, analysis, consulting, and renewable energy contributes to their skills and expertise in the field.

Pieter Goubert holds an MBA degree from the Ted Rogers School of Management - Toronto Metropolitan University, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Political Science at Western University from 2011 to 2012. Pieter also holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Social and Political Philosophy from KU Leuven, which they earned from 2010 to 2011. Pieter obtained another Master's degree in Philosophy from KU Leuven from 2009 to 2010. Pieter's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy, with a minor in Law, which they received from KU Leuven from 2006 to 2009. Pieter completed their high school education at Jan-Van-Ruusbroeckollege from 2000 to 2006, focusing on Advanced Mathematics and Greek.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Pieter holds a certification called "Greening the Economy: Sustainable Cities," obtained from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2016.
