Silvio Delgado M.ed.

Silvio Delgado, M.Ed. has a diverse work background that spans over a decade. Silvio began their career as a Recruitment Specialist at Arizona State University from September 2010 to May 2011. Following this, they joined Teach For America as an Academic Dean, where they developed instructional strategies and provided coaching to new teachers from January 2010 to July 2014.

Afterward, Silvio joined Roosevelt School District as an Assistant Principal at Sunland Elementary School, where they supported existing systems and implemented restorative justice practices. Silvio also secured a $5,000-grant for math-intervention programs from the National Council for Teaching Mathematics during their tenure from July 2014 to July 2019.

In 2019, Silvio joined PelotonU, starting as a College Completion Coach, where they supported adults in achieving their college degrees and realizing their aspirations through structured learning tasks and goal-setting. In January 2022, they assumed the role of Associate Director of College Completion - Secondary Supports, further contributing to the organization's mission of promoting educational attainment.

Before these positions, Silvio worked as a Dual Language Program Mathematics and Science Teacher at Valley View School in the Roosevelt School District from August 2007 to May 2012. Silvio taught mathematics and science using a bilingual 50/50 model and co-wrote the junior high math and science curriculum with another teacher. Prior to that, they served as a Dual Language Program Mathematics Teacher at Valley View School from August 2007 to May 2014, teaching mathematics in both Spanish and English.

Silvio Delgado, M.Ed. received their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Silvio then pursued a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Arizona State University, completing their degree from 2007 to 2009. Silvio Delgado later returned to Arizona State University to earn another Master of Education, this time with a focus on Educational Administration and Supervision (Principalship). Silvio obtained this degree from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their academic achievements, Silvio Delgado has earned several certifications. Silvio is a Certified Evaluator in Learning Observation Instrument through the Maricopa County Educational Services Agency. Silvio also holds certification in Marzano's Observation Instrument from the Marzano Center.
