Esther Swerling

Esther Swerling has extensive experience in the field of HR and People Operations. Esther'smost recent role was as the Head of People at Pendula, where they focused on creating exceptional employee experiences and implementing people-centric programs to attract and retain top talent. Prior to Pendula, Esther worked as a Senior People & Culture Business Partner at BMF Australia, where they supported the CEO and leadership team during a time of crisis and change. Esther also served as the People & Culture Director at Publicis Communications, where they led all People and Culture programs nationally. In previous roles, Esther held positions such as Head of People & Culture at Hoyne, Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Vodafone Australia, and Relationship Manager at PwC. Esther began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at PRJS and later worked as a Senior Consultant at Michael Page. Esther Swerling has a diverse education history. Esther attended Leeds Girls High School from 1987 to 2000. Esther then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2004, with a focus on English and History. Following this, they obtained a Master of Philosophy degree at the University of Birmingham in 2004-2005, specializing in Modern History. Later, in 2014-2015, Esther attended the University of Technology Sydney, where they earned a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management and Services.
