Danielle L. Woods

Danielle L. Woods is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and media relations. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist for the Pennsylvania State Senate since May 2023, Danielle previously held the role of Director of Communications within the same organization. Prior experience includes anchoring for WGAL TV, where Danielle worked in various capacities including 4, 6, 10, and 11 PM Anchor, and Weekend Anchor/Reporter. Danielle's background also includes reporting positions at WJET-TV and Eyewitness News Local WEHT WTVW, along with a solid foundation in broadcast and digital journalism obtained from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. Notably, Danielle began a career in communications as a Communications Assistant at Rising Tide Capital, where responsibilities included developing press materials and media communications. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a focus on Graphic Arts from Saint Peter's University.
