Anand Desai

Anand Desai has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Anand started their career as a Marcom Coordinator at SanDisk in 2009. Anand then moved on to State Street, where they held various roles including Associate I - Fund Accountant, Associate II - Fund Accountant, Senior Associate - Client Operations, and Officer - Client Operations Manager. During their time at State Street, Anand successfully managed teams, developed and implemented new tools and procedures, and contributed to multiple bank-wide initiatives. Since 2015, Anand has been working at Penserra, where they have held the positions of Associate, Junior Portfolio Manager, Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and currently as the Director, Senior Portfolio Manager. In their roles at Penserra, Anand has been responsible for managing all aspects of ETF portfolios, ensuring accurate implementation of index methodology, and maintaining relationships with index providers.

Anand Desai completed their high school education at Bellarmine College Preparatory from 2003 to 2007, earning a High School Diploma. Following that, from 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics.
