Terry Winstanley

Terry Winstanley has over 20 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles across various industries. Beginning in 2002, Terry started as an Office Junior at Hire for Lower before transitioning to an Operations Assistant. In 2003, Terry joined Crédit Agricole as a Messenger for three years. In 2006, Terry became an Assistant Accountant at Muji for a year before working as an Accountant at Core Fashions Ltd. for another year. Terry then joined OSTC Ltd. in 2008 as an Assistant Management Accountant, eventually being promoted to Management Accountant, responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and supervising an assistant. In 2014, Terry joined PETRONAS Energy Trading Limited as a Management Accountant, overseeing various financial reporting tasks. In 2016, Terry joined Smart DCC as a Senior Management Accountant and later became an FP&A Manager and Finance Business Partner. From 2020 to 2023, Terry worked at Limejump as both Head of Commercial Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Currently, Terry is the Chief Financial Officer at Penso Power Limited, a position held since 2023.

Terry Winstanley completed a BA (Honours) first class degree in Sustainable Performance Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University in the year 2017. Prior to that, Terry obtained the Chartered Management Accountant certification from CIMA in 2013. Additionally, Terry obtained the MAAT certification from AAT in 2010. Furthermore, Terry has obtained several additional certifications, including Mergers and Acquisitions from Imperial College Business School in 2022, 5 Conversations - Participant from The Oxford Group in 2021, Microsoft Power BI - Up & Running with Power BI Desktop from Maven Analytics in 2020, and Microsoft Excel - Advanced Excel Formulas and Functions also from Maven Analytics in 2020.
