Scott Riggins has over 25 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Scott began their career in 1994 as a Staff Technologist at TASC (The Analytic Sciences Corporation), where they were responsible for Internet strategy, design, development and maintenance for facets of the U.S. Department of Defense. In 1996, they joined Apple, Inc. as a Senior Webmaster and Technology Strategy, where they were responsible for technical production for www.apple.com. From 1999 to 2001, they were the Founding Partner and Principal Consultant at Tomium, where they were the operations, project and technology lead for enterprise software development and systems integration in energy & financial trading. In 2005, they joined Wellogix as the Vice President of Software Engineering, where they were a hands-on leader in all aspects including vision, design, architecture and development for a venture-backed oil & gas software company. From 2007 to 2013, they were the Solutions Architect and Founder of Social Mobility, Inc., where they provided software product & systems design, development & strategy consulting. From 2013 to 2018, they were the Enterprise Applications Manager and Global Data Systems at Oceaneering, where they founded a distributed, cross-functional software engineering organization. Finally, from 2018 to 2019, they were the Director of Innovation & Transformation at CNX, where they created a cross-functional team advancing realtime operations, data management & analytics. Currently, they are the Developer Relations Director at Penthera, where they enable leading content providers on five continents who use the Penthera framework & services to optimize mobile user experience when downloading & streaming video on tens of millions of devices.

Scott Riggins obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston between 1988 and 1993. Scott then went on to earn a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Northwestern University between 1993 and 1995.
