Mikaela Read

Mikaela Read has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mikaela is currently working as a Senior Consultant, Advisory at PeopleBench since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Consultant, Leadership & Executive Coach, and Career Coach at Morpho HR Consulting & Coaching starting from July 2021. From February 2021 to June 2021, Mikaela served as a Senior HR Partner at Moreton Bay College. Mikaela also worked at Bank of Queensland as a People & Culture Business Partner from December 2018 to February 2021. Mikaela had a long tenure at National Australia Bank, holding various positions such as Talent Consultant, Business & Private Banking (February 2013 to February 2021), Capability Consultant, Professional Development (November 2015 to August 2016), People & Culture Business Partner, Personal Banking QLD (January 2012 to January 2013), Executive Manager, Specialised Group Assets (October 2010 to December 2011), and HR Business Partner, UK - People & Culture (March 2009 to October 2010). Before that, they worked as an HR Business Partner, Global Transaction Banking at RBS International from April 2006 to March 2009 and as an HR Consultant, Personal Finance & Collections at GE Capital from 2004 to 2006.

Mikaela Read obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business, with a double-major in Human Resource Management, from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Senior Schooling at Moreton Bay College from 1992 to 1997. In terms of additional certifications, Mikaela obtained a Certified Organizational Coach certification from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) in September 2021. Mikaela also acquired a Queensland Working With Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government in January 2021. Moreover, Mikaela became an Accredited Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid Australia in July 2021.
