Ethan Kent grew up around cattle and haystacks in the remote farm country of northern Minnesota, but that didn’t stop him from hijacking his dad’s Commodore VIC-20 and writing his first computer program on BASIC 2.0 at only 6 years old! These days, he likes to work with Python, PHP, and Javascript — but he also has the hots for Ruby. As a software engineer at PeopleConnect, Ethan focuses on back-end programming and is hoping to find some data science opportunities.
