Elodie Charles has a diverse work experience in the engineering field with various companies. Elodie started their career at CIPR as an intern, where they focused on studying and preparing polymer solutions for enhanced oil recovery in the petroleum industry. Elodie then joined CEA as part of their sandwich course, specializing in the synthesis of nitrogen heterocycles and developing a strong background in safety. After that, Elodie worked at STORENGY as an apprentice, where they optimized the technical and economic aspects of operating storage sites. Elodie implemented injection and extraction benchmarks to improve facility performance and provided technical expertise to support site operations. Currently, Elodie is employed at Perenco, initially as a project engineer and eventually transitioning to the role of lead process engineer. Elodie is responsible for leading process engineering activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's projects.

Elodie CHARLES earned a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development/Développement et Exploitation des Gisements from IFP School, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Chimie from ENSIACET, from 2008 to 2010. Before entering ENSIACET, Elodie completed a Prépa program at ENSCR, where they obtained the French equivalent to the High School Degree with honors, with a focus on Chimie, from 2006 to 2008.
