Gena Stern

Gena Stern has an extensive work experience that includes roles in various companies. Gena is currently serving as the VP of People & Business Operations at Petal since September 2022. Gena also holds the position of Member, Board of Trustees at the National Child Research Center (NCRC Preschool) since July 2022. In 2021, they were a Founding Member at Chief. Prior to that, Gena had a significant tenure at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they served as Chief of Staff (Executive Director), JPMC Institute & PolicyCenter from January 2021 to August 2022 and as Chief Of Staff (Vice President), JPMC Institute from October 2016 to January 2021. Before joining JPMorgan Chase & Co., they worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as a Senior Operations Advisor to the Chief of Staff from September 2014 to October 2016 and as a Special Advisor to the Director from August 2013 to September 2014. Gena's earlier experience includes working as a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs in 2012, an MBA Intern at LearnVest, Inc. in 2011, an Analyst/Manager at American Express from August 2009 to June 2011, and an Intern at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in 2008.

Gena Stern has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School. Gena also holds an AB cum laude degree from Harvard University, majoring in English and American Literature and Language.
