Murad Tashkandi

Murad Tashkandi is an Electrical Engineering Intern at Phasor Engineering Inc., having joined in May 2024, where responsibilities include contributing to the distribution lines team. Additionally, Murad serves as an Avionics Team Member at Schulich UAV since October 2023, collaborating on electronics and circuitry development and testing for UAV functionality. In April 2023, Murad assumed the role of VP Public Relations for Student Energy at the University of Calgary, enhancing networking and marketing strategies for professional development events focused on energy sector decarbonization. Other experiences include internships at Johnson & Johnson, Densay Ensaat Ztd. Sti., GE Healthcare, and Nestlé, where skills in various sectors such as marketing, biomedical equipment deployment, and factory operations were developed. Murad is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Calgary, expected to graduate in April 2026.
