Murray Wigmore

Murray Wigmore has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the life science and scientific instrument industry. Murray has served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Head of Business Development at PHC Biomed since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Sales Biomed at the same company, responsible for managing the sales distribution and consultative science teams.

Before joining PHC Biomed, Murray worked at Sartorius as the President and Managing Director of their Japan operations. Murray was responsible for overseeing the commercial operation in Japan and generating significant revenue in the BioPharma marketplace.

Murray also held leadership positions at Metrohm USA, Thermo Fisher Scientific, GE Healthcare, CANBDEV, MDS/ Sciex, and Agilent Technologies. These roles involved managing commercial operations, driving growth, and fostering collaborations in various regions, including Asia Pacific and North America.

Throughout their career, Murray has demonstrated a track record of achieving significant growth and driving successful business outcomes.

Murray Wigmore completed an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Guelph, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Murray also participated in an Executive Program at Queen's University. Murray has obtained several certifications, including Strategic Thinking Tips to Solve Problems and Innovate from LinkedIn in 2023, Mindfulness Practices from LinkedIn in 2022, Lean certification from Lean Focus LLC in 2021, and a Six Sigma Green Belt from GE.
