Micah Collins

Micah Collins has a diverse work experience in the soccer industry. Micah began their career in 2017 as the Head Soccer Coach for the Varsity Girls team at Grandview Sr. High School. In the same year, they also worked as the Head Soccer Coach for the '03 Elite Boys team at Tennessee Soccer Club and as a Goalkeeper Coach for Tennessee ODP. In 2018, they served as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Belmont University and as a Goalkeeper Coach for Cap City Athletic 1847. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as the Men's and Women's Assistant Soccer Coach at Michigan State University. In 2019, they became the Executive Director of The Player Project. In 2020, they joined the Philadelphia Union as the Academy & Junior Academy GK Coach and later took up roles as the Youth Goalkeeper Director and the Youth Program Director. Micah also joined United Soccer Coaches as a Coach Developer in the same year. Additionally, in 2020, they worked as the 2012 Girls Head Coach for Lower Merion Soccer Club.

Micah Collins completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science & Mechanics with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Penn State University between 2010 and 2013. In 2015 and 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Coaching from Greenville University. Prior to this, in 2009 and 2010, they attended Villanova University, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.

Additionally, Micah Collins holds various certifications related to soccer. Micah obtained the USSF "A-Senior" License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in August 2021. In December 2020, they achieved the Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches. Furthermore, in October 2019, they were awarded the "30 Under 30" certification by the same organization.
