Áureo C. is a Junior Researcher at Photanol since November 2021, specializing in biobased sciences with a focus on biotechnology and bioeconomy. Prior experience includes a Master's Thesis Research Student role at Wageningen University & Research, where research involved metabolic modeling of Nannochloropsis microalgae for lipid production. Áureo has also engaged in research fellowships and internships at various institutions, including the Institute of Plant Biochemistry and Photosynthesis, the Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council, and the Spanish Bank of Algae, gaining expertise in microalgae cultivation, gene expression, and management of harmful cyanobacterial blooms.
