Valentine Nguyen

Valentine Nguyen is a Junior Researcher in R&D at Photanol since March 2022, focusing on the metabolic optimization of cyanobacterial strains for the production of valuable carbon-based compounds. Previously, Valentine served as a research assistant at Malmö University in partnership with Simris Alg, where work involved studying the antioxidant and photo-protective properties of microalgae for cosmetic applications, conducting enzyme activity measurements, and analyzing microalgae cultivation processes. Valentine holds a Master’s degree specializing in Biological Engineering from Polytech Clermont, with an Erasmus Exchange at the University of Debrecen in 2021, and has completed a two-year preparatory program at Polytech Clermont. The educational journey began with earning the French Baccalaureate in Scientific studies at Lycée L'oiselet.
