Sudipta Bhattacharyya

Sudipta Bhattacharyya is a Senior Research Scientist at PI Industries Ltd since February 2019, specializing in agrochemical discovery through the design, optimization, and synthesis of organic-based small molecules. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Scientist in the agrochemical industry, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Sudipta also served as a Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Kolkata, where a Ph.D. was obtained in Medicinal Chemistry. Additional academic experience includes positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Junior Research Fellow. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Chemistry from Vidyasagar University and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics from Panskura Banamali College. Early education was completed at Kola Union High School.
